She Bought the Book She’s Already Read Four Times?!
Training to Love by Jonaxx, Now on my Shelf (I love 🚩)
Hi Ka-Basa!
There’s a different kind of magic when a book you already know by heart finally lands in your hands — real, physical, and all yours.
That’s what Training to Love by Jonaxx is to me.
I knew the story. I’ve read it, cried over it, highlighted it mentally, and laughed at Troy and Trisha’s chaotic banters more times than I can count. I knew the plot twist. I knew how my heart would break somewhere in the middle. And yet… holding it now? It feels entirely new. Like it waited for me, like this copy is a trophy — proof of how far I’ve come as a reader, and how deeply this story has stayed with me.
There’s a weight to it. Not just the pages or the print — but the presence. Of memories. Of late nights. Of reading with tired eyes but refusing to stop. Of quietly relating to Trisha’s unspoken feelings. Of unexpectedly seeing growth in a character like Troy — the type who never expected to fall in love but does, deeply and irrevocably. It’s not just about kilig, it’s about being seen.
There’s nothing like the scent of a new book, yes. But even more, there’s nothing like finally owning a piece of something that once owned a piece of you. Because this isn’t just a book. It’s a memory. A milestone. A reminder that we live for the sake of stories that make us feel ‘everything’— kahit ilang ulit pa natin siyang basahin.
📚 Up next on my shelf (and future posts!)

My hands are full of books, and my blog is ready to hold the rest of my feelings.
Thank you for being here, Ka-Basa. 💗
See you in the next post. Let’s cry, laugh, and overthink together.
‘Til then, stay soft but keep reading. ☁️📖✨

Margins of Tayntanium: First Entry

Hi Ka-Basa! And welcome to the margins ✨
I’m Tayntanium — a Filipina soft-reader whose life has been shaped by the books I’ve read since Grade 4 (and the fictional crushes I still haven’t recovered from). From pocketbooks and Wattpad to manga, webtoons, and yes — my slowly growing bookshelf yey!— I’ve lived more lives than I can count.
This blog is my cozy little corner. A place to scream about book quotes, cry over character deaths, and share the magic of reading — all with a touch of humor, softness, and a sprinkle of chaos. ✨
I’ve had physical books for years, each one holding a piece of me between their pages. But recently, I’ve started collecting titles that meant so much to me digitally — starting with something iconic: Training to Love by Jonaxx. It’s my first physical Jonaxx book, and there’s just something sacred about finally holding a story that once lived only on a glowing screen. (Also: ang bango ng bagong libro aminin na natin. We live for the sake of telling ourselves ‘last chapter na’… tapos 4AM na HAHAHAHAH)
So what can you expect here at Margins of Tayntanium?
– Cozy book reviews (aka love letters to stories)
– TBRs I absolutely plan to finish… someday
– Reader thoughts, rants, and revelations
– Filipino literature features (because our stories deserve the spotlight)
– And maybe a few life updates from this reader with no reading nook — just a heart full of stories and a phone.
If you’ve ever hugged a book to your chest, laughed alone while reading, or mourned the end of a good series… this blog is for you.
Thank you for stopping by, truly. I hope this space feels like a warm light by the window. And if you’re reading this while sipping coffee or curled up in bed — then we’re already friends 🧡
See you in the next post,
– Tayntanium
